This Tamahere address was curated to have layers of interest within its design. The landscaping definitely makes its own statement, without detracting from the grand feel of the house.

This rural property was a new build, so the landscaping was the finishing piece to the project and incorporated some interesting areas to work on.
The custom Corten sliding gate opens to the front of the house with floating entrance steps and layered raised walls and garden beds. Free-standing arbour structures link to the pool area and pergola, with tropical planting to create a relaxed feel.

This project required us to work closely with the clients to ensure their specific design needs were met. The design itself had to take into account - the restricted size of the site; its proximity to gully land; and their need for it to meet entertaining requirements for themselves and their teenage children.
This residential project included several custom concrete pieces crafted by the team, including, entranceway walls, a concrete timber shutter fireplace and a seating area. These worked in nicely with the pool and kwila decking to create a cohesive entertaining area. The pool surrounds were complemented by lush foliage.

The last stages in an original Tamahere renovation, this garden and pool area was developed in two stages. It incorporated multiple areas to relax around the yard, along with a decked pool and spa area.

The client envisaged a Central Otago vista for his landscapes, so tussocks, carex and rocks were incorporated into garden beds. Bluestone pool surrounds and pathways complemented the modern architecture of the house while maintaining the connection to the land.
The house itself overlooks neighbouring farmland and the Waikato River, and the soft and hardscaping connect seamlessly to that surrounding environment.

Having relocated from Queenstown, the owner wanted elements of her garden to replicate the central Otago landscape. This was achieved through gabion walls and specific plant choices.
